It might seem SURPRISING and wildly unlikely, but Boxing - specifically Rock Steady Boxing can help in the fight against Parkinson's.

Classes are well underway and are now and always in session  - The schedule is:


EVERY Tuesday & EVERY Thursday

Level 1 & 2 - 7:15am to 8:30am

Level 1 & 2 - 10:00am to 11:30am

Level 3 & 4 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

You MUST schedule an assessment before you can begin classes - assessments will be done on Tuesdays and Thursdays - you must schedule an appointment.


Rock Steady Boxing is fortunate enough to be held inside Boston Boxing & Fitness - this incredible gym has always been a leader in how boxing can change the lives of not only athletes, but those who have different kinds of fights ahead of them. From Their after school program, to their substance abuse and recovery boxing program - and the Boston Boxing team is thrilled to carry the fight to Parkinson's disease.

every day we are learning that there are ways in which people with Parkinson’s disease can enhance their daily quality of life and even build impressive power, strength, flexibility and speed! By exercising with Coaches who know the ropes, you can fight your way out of the corner and start to feel and function better. Boxing works by moving your body in all planes of motion while continuously changing the routine as you progress through the workout. These classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life.
